In our generation no because kids nowadays are horrendous and very very childish, but back in the nineteen hundreds kids were very responsible and respected their elders. At there maturity level they could even have a job at the age of 8 in my opnion.
Well it depends on what generation because back in the old days it's ok for responsible kids to work at a factory but now in the generation we're in it not, because our factories now is much lager and dangerous for kids.
