Maybe so then Mr.Spizz will think of Jack as a good person and Jack may think that if he's nice to Mr.Spizz he'll forget about doubling the weed ticket to $6.00. Or maybe so then Mrs.Volker and Mr.Spizz will finally get along because he's being nice to them and Mr.Spizz and Mrs.Volker are being nice to Jack so maybe they'll be nice to each other too.
Jack doesn't want to hurt Spizz because he would probably get in more trouble because he is a volunteer police or he wants to be seen as a nice and responsible kid.
