I think he was scared because since he knows what Hells Angels are capable of doing he know what the Hells Angel could do to him and since he was walking right towards him he could have been pooping his pants.
Yes because they kill people and they burn houses and they are strong and they have beards,any man who has a beard you know is a manley man.
