I think Mrs.Volker felt very sad because she wrote the obituary with a lot of detail and she always made sure Jack called her to see if she was okay. I also think that Mrs.Volker might have felt anger because she wanted to keep all these people healthy like she had promised but many people have now died in Norvelt.
I think she felt happy but she also probably felt sad because another one of her "friends" and then she had to write an obituary for her .I would be sad because in my opinian every one should not die unless life is worse.
