I think Jack's dad's secret job is to wipe out all the Norvelt houses/destroy all of the Norvelt houses because on the very first page of Chapter 15 which is page 198 Jack's dad said "Well once Mrs.Volker finds out about my new top secret job she might change her mind because there'll be no town to nurse" and at first Jack and his mom were talking about how Mrs.Volker should move to Florida with her sister but remembered that she had promiseed to Mrs.Roosevelt she'd nurse this town to the end. But when Jack's dad heard them talking he started talking about his new secret job and from whatis sounds like I think Jack's dad's secret job is to either destroy all the houses or all the people.

ReplyDeleteI think Jack's dad's Secret Jobs is destroying all Norvelt houses and transporting them to West Virginia and slowly destroying Norvelt as a job.
