He was sort of worried about his dad coming home because he didn't want his dad to see the 3$ ticket for the weed being too high and he was worried about his mother telling his father that Jack played with his dad's gun even though he wasn't allowed to.
He was worried about his dad coming home and finding out about him playing with the dad's weapon's. I also think that he is a little happy to see his dad after so long.
