In my opinion I think it would be more sad to see and older person cry (from age 50-100) because they seem so sweet and kind and I wouldn't like to see a nice old person cry. But all the older people I know are sweet and they have feelings inside them that could be heart pretty easily and it would hurt to see them cry.
I honestly agree with Helli W when I see an old person cry it makes me see even as an elder I will have pain. Pain comes even when we are not expecting it, we can't see the future but we have already lived the past. We know what we did, maybe we don't. Even if you are innocent people find a way of sticking a knife in your back and if you aren't careful they are just going to twist the knife around. The point is that life has crying and even if you aren't expecting it, it will find you and it will hurt.
An older person cry well..in my opinion because you don't get to see an adult cry everyday. And i think its sweet that a older person cry because adult are mature and don't cry that much but seeing them actually cry its sweet and you see younger kids cry like everyday because they get hurt or something bad happened at school and stuff. This is my opinion so I think seeing an older person cry is sweet because they cry about being happy or sad and angry.
