I think he was still happy that he was able to go in the J-3 but not pilot it because his dad let him have a ride in the J-3 but his mom said that his father and her agreed that they would give him a different card so he could go on the rides at a carnival but his dad instead put a card for a ride in the J-3. So I think he was happy, plus he can pretend to be in the war like he did with the rifle but hopefully he'll be more safe.
I think that he was happy because he could still ride in it and he could imagine being like his dad and fighting in the war. Jack would also get to leave home without using his GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD . Also Jack has perrmision meaning he dosen't have to worry about being in trouble and he can have fun.

ReplyDeleteYes I do think Jack is happy even though he can't be the pilot. I think he's happy because he will be with his dad flying in the air.
