I think it's a little harsh to keep a grudge on someone, I personally think you should give the person you have a grudge on a chance to make it up to you and calm down like Emebet H said. But I also understand if she's holding a grudge on someone because they've done many things wrong or one really big thing wrong why she'd have a grudge on them.
I think she has a right to be mad but holding a grudge isn't a good thing, especially if its your own son your holding a grudge on. Like what Emebet and Helli said , you should always give someone another chance to see if they can make it up to you. But on my part if they fail go on and rock at holding that grudge until they success.
I think that it's okay to be mad at someone but holding a grudge to someone isn't a nice thing to do, and it if the worse kind to hold a grudge on your son your daughter or your whole family. It's always a good thing to give that person a second chance to change before holding a grudge on them.
I think that she is saying her opinion about it and that she should calm a bit about it and realise the other persons side.
