I think the story is true and maybe half made up because Bunny is good friends with Jack and most good friends don't lie to each other. But when Bunny was telling the story of how Mrs.Slater died she said she had her dentures in her hand and had a message to make so she could have wanted to give them to someone else or might have wanted to die with them in her hand. But she could have also been trying to give them to Jack because she is pretty close to him.
I think the story is true but I think that half is made up but thats not the point, I mean Bunny is a good friend of Jack she won't lie to him well I know she will tell him the story just to scare him but she wouldn't lie.
I think it is a little fake,i would have a hard time believing bunny (Stella) a you have to think that we all strech the truth sometimes but Bunny (Stella) seems like the person who would all the time and the death might have been to grosam for Jack and bunny (Stella)might not have wanted to scare Jack.
