I think people thought that woman couldn't fly across the Atlantic is because they think woman is weak or they think only men could do it but Amelia Earhart prove them wrong she was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic.
Maybe because in 1928 and years around that time men on the other side of the world never liked women from the other side to be in their countries or they might have just hated women from North America so they didn't appreciate them being in Europe.But maybe they had different feelings towards Amelia Earhart.
Maybe because people thought that she was weak and she couldn't anything.Maybe in 1928 they thought only men could do stuff like that.They were wrong because she was the first woman to fly across the ATLANTIC.
Because back then Men didn't think Women were manley enough to do certain things,like play on sport teams with the opposite gender.They thought we were feeble. We didn't have the same rights as them.
