I was kind of surprised and also not because Mr.Spizz seems like a person that wouldn't even dare try to hurt anyone since he rides a little tricycle which makes him look like he'd have a kiddy personality and like little doll things. But I wasn't surprised because I was wondering what he could have been doing with the 1080 and the fact that he used it to kill the old ladies seemed reasonable and plus when Jack and Mrs.Volker went to go check out one of the old ladies he was at her house with a grin on his face.
No, because he is in love with Miss Volker and she made a promise to Mrs. Rosevelt to be the last original Norvelter and Mr. Spizz will do anything to help her. That is why he told Jack to go buy 1080 so he could poison alll the ladies.
