Not at the moment no because they've been fighting a lot and they don't really hangout that much right now but once they go back to school and start hanging out again I think they'll be good friends again.
Yes I do think they would become great friends, but they are currently arguing at the moment. They will work through it they seem like they have a strong friendship (but not right now). They will gain there friendship.
